HAPPY INTERNATIONAL LABORATORY ANIMAL TECHNICIAN WEEK

In celebration and recognition for the tireless dedication you exhibit in your profession every day, Drexel University Online would like to cordially invite you to a professional development webinar. The esteemed presenter, Megan R. LaFollette, MS, PhD, from the North American 3Rs Collaborative, will discuss how research animal personnel are clearly essential for implementing 3Rs techniques (refinement, reduction, and replacement) to improve scientific quality and animal welfare. However, while caring for research animals they can also be deeply affected by compassion fatigue – affecting their mental health, ability to care for animals, and the workplace as a whole. By promoting both compassion fatigue resiliency and 3Rs techniques, we can support both our research animals and the people who care for them.
